She holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Panjab University, where she graduated as Valedictorian. She further advanced her expertise by completing the Certificate in Immigration: Law, Policies, and Procedures at The University of British Columbia, also earning Valedictorian honors. Ankita is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education (EdD) at Northeastern University, with a research focus on immigration challenges faced by international students in Canada.
Ankita currently serves as an International Student and Scholar Advisor at Northeastern University, where she is dedicated to supporting and empowering students from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. Her in-depth knowledge of immigration regulations and government policies allows her to provide high-level guidance on study permits, co-op planning, and cultural transitions. Her efforts are rooted in fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment where international students can succeed both academically and personally.
In addition to her role in higher education, Ankita is the Managing Director of Immigracia Visa Consulting Inc., where she leads with a client-centered, analytical approach. She began her career in 2020 at an immigration consultancy and, in 2021, joined a well-respected school in Toronto, where she discovered her passion for helping students and institutions alike. Since obtaining her RISIA license in 2023, Patricia has been with the University of Niagara Falls Canada, developing practical strategies to guide students toward success.
